Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. It's truly fulfilling to connect with individuals like you and be able to offer my expertise and support. As an experienced therapist, I've been practicing since 2013, initially as a Licensed Professional Counselor and currently as a Licensed Psychologist and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. Throughout my journey, I've dedicated myself to continuous growth and development in the field.
In my pursuit of excellence, I obtained my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology in 2018, solidifying my knowledge and understanding of the complexities of human behavior and emotions. Additionally, I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which provided me with a strong foundation in supporting individuals with their mental well-being.
What sets me apart is my commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field. I am a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider, allowing me to extend my therapeutic services to individuals across over 30 states through telehealth. This credentialing emphasizes my dedication to accessible and convenient mental health care, particularly in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
While I've spent many years honing my skills as a generalist, my true passion lies in working with individuals seeking sex therapy. To ensure my specialized expertise, I completed an intensive two-year training program through the Institute for Sexuality, Education, and Enlightenment (ISEE) in 2022. This training equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to address the unique challenges and intricacies surrounding sexuality, fostering a safe and accepting environment for my clients.
Furthermore, to further enhance my proficiency in sex therapy, I received two years of advanced clinical supervision in this specialized area. This invaluable experience has allowed me to refine my approach and navigate complex dynamics with sensitivity, empathy, and expertise. After three years of training and supervision I became a Certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
In addition to individual therapy, I also engage with partners and groups, providing a comprehensive and holistic approach to addressing sexual concerns. I specialize in working with partners where one or both are experiencing disordered eating. Additionally, I offer in-person or virtual workshops tailored to mental health and sexuality, empowering individuals to explore and enhance their understanding of themselves and their relationships.
At the core of my practice, I am driven by the belief that everyone deserves support and guidance on their journey towards overall well-being. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their concerns, gain insight, and develop effective coping strategies. Together, we can work towards fostering positive change and enhancing the quality of life.
