Commitment and Investment
Investment
Therapy is undoubtedly a considerable investment, requiring substantial amounts of time, money, emotions, and energy. It is a commitment that should not be taken lightly. Recognizing this, I wholeheartedly strive to prioritize your personal development, ensuring that you receive valuable returns on your investment. With dedication and a focus on your growth, I aim to honor the trust you place in me and maximize the benefits that therapy can offer.
At this time, I do not work with insurance companies to cover the cost of therapy services and am considered an out-of-network provider. This is for several reasons. First, I am a full-time private practice psychologist. This means I have a set amount of time each week dedicated to my practice, and I want all available time to be invested in providing therapy services to my clients. Secondly, while a person’s benefits and circumstances change, a private pay fee remains relatively consistent. As of April 25, 2025 my fees are as follows:
60-minute individual session - $200
60 - minute couples session - $225
Workshops start at $275 per hour
If you are someone who wants to utilize your insurance provider for therapy, I can provide you a superbill after each session. A superbill has information your insurance would collect if you were seeking reimbursement through your insurance company. Please check with your insurance to confirm what percentage of reimbursement you are offered when using out-of-network providers as I cannot guarantee that you will be provided a reimbursement by your insurance provider.
Commitment to accessibility
As a compassionate psychologist committed to ensuring that individuals of all identities have equal access to quality care, I make it a priority to reserve a few client slots for those in need of a sliding scale or greatly reduced fee. If this is something you think you may be eligible for, please ask.
